Main Mission: Ensure the maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Value-Added Services (VAS) such as SMSC, USSD, RBT, and VMS, guaranteeing service availability and quality for clients.
Position responsibility in future
· Comprehensive maintenance of VAS systems, including infrastructure (servers, storage, LAN switches, firewalls, OS, databases).
· Resolve technical issues, rectifications, daily monitoring, KPI reporting, and spare part replacements.
· Plan and execute scheduled maintenance tasks, such as DR switchover tests, system health checks, and emergency recovery drills.
· Update and summarize maintenance documents, share specific cases, and draft guides for typical issues.
· Maintain active communication with clients, track issues, produce Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports, and manage customer satisfaction.
Skills and Requirements:
· Strong familiarity with VAS (SMSC, USSD, RBT, VMS) products, their architecture, service flows, and structure.
· Proven experience in installation, commissioning, integration testing, and maintenance of VAS systems.
· Solid understanding of maintenance methodologies and associated processes.
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in telecommunications or networking.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in VAS maintenance or similar fields.
· Proficiency in English and French, with English being the working language at Huawei.
